My Feet!
For nearly 200 miles during the second and third weeks, between Pamplona and to nearly Leon I suffered extensive blisters on both feet.
They only stopped me walking for one day, but many days I could only manage shorter distances. They were mainly pressure blisters from the constant pounding my feet got, made worst by temperatures sometimes in the high 30's.
I became an expert in treating blisters, but I never met an expert at preventing them.
I tried everything possible to stop getting more. The only thing that worked for me in the end was to buy a pair of walking sandals, so my feet were cooler.
With hindsight I don't know how I managed to continue, but I did and getting through those 200 miles with shredded feet was probably my biggest achievement, even bigger than walking the whole 500 miles.
